Additionally, your counselors will be able to identify the root causes of their client’s financial situation which will allow them to better tailor their counseling session in order to meet their clients needs.

Our counselors are prepared to teach individuals saving techniques, how to budget appropriately and techniques to reduce their debts.

Steps to get certified

• 2nd Pay for the course

• 3rd Your counselor reviews and studies the materials

• 4th Your counselor takes and passes the examination

Please note when the counselor is done studying and is ready to take the exam, the first step will be finding a proctor. We offer webcam proctoring for $150, but you may also find a local proctor. You will need to fill out our proctor verification form in order to request the exam. Once we approve the proctor we will send them the exam. You will need to schedule a time to take the exam with your proctor.

It is important that your counselors utilize our practice exercises provided in the courses in order to familiarize themselves with the necessary skill sets they will need in order to be a successful counselor. Additionally, we encourage counselors to read over the course they are enrolled in several times to ensure they fully understand the content. What study techniques work for them?
